I sold gum and other candy to my classmates in elementary school. 25 cents for a piece of gum...of course back then you could buy a entire pack (5pcs.) of Bubbalicious for 25 cents. somehow I managed to get one of the girls to give me $17...didn't have to "turn any tricks" for it either. one of my moron friends leaked the info to the teacher though and I was forced to give back the $$.
I used to go next door and get the mail for my aunt and carry it up a few flights of stairs (she lived in an apartment building) and bring it to her....LOL I think she gave me a dollar a day for that, but it was quite some time ago, so that could have been a dollar a week for all i know.
I don't remember my first buck but I shoveled a lot of driveways, mowed a lot of lawns and delivered a lot of papers when I was a kid. It's funny to think back about those times. I guess it was around grade 5 or 6 when I started mowing lawns and such. By the time grade nine rolled around my best friend and I would skip class to shovel driveways whenever it snowed. We were 'highrollers' (or so we thought). Some days we'd rake in $150 a piece which was damn good money when I was 14.
I got my first money in cash, when i was in the first year of my bechalors degree. I made it by doing a survey for government of India on HIV AIDS. It was really enjoying doing that survey and make money from it, because at that time you contributes your service to nation as well as society's well being and make money out of it.
lol. that's some pretty bad interested if youare asking me... he could , probably get 50$ in interest at top. depending on how his sales went though, lol.
