I think I've found a banner for an empty spot on my article directory. When do the affiliate links go live?

 

I want this pig in my home so another tip on me:
Don't promote products with low commissions, and I mean to promote only "big boys" with 70-80-90 $ for a sale. If you chose the market right and the right product you will not have anything to lose,only to gain from promoting a higher commission product.

How can I give the free trial and insert the cookie also?

 

There are many ways one can do this:

1. Your autoresponder - you must set a 'thank you' url in your AR - Meaning, when they successfully fill out your aweber/getresponse etc. - you need to send them to a page of your choice - that page should be your hoplink (you set the cookie this way). THEN your autoresponder sends them the .zip or a link to the .zip - this way they are already cookied before they get it

2. Simply get them to look at the sales page (your hoplink) first, then email or notify you if they want a limited time free trial.

3. Simply put links to both your hoplink "Check out what this software does!" as the first link, and then "Once you've previewed the details, let me give YOU a free trial" as the second link (some people might bypass your hop, but just build incentive in any way you can to get them to click the hop link first, THEN give them the trial.

4. Ask nicely - "click my link" please - you'll be amazed - if you like what you see, I'll GIVE you a sneak peak freebie version if you email me today...

I could go on - but it's all the same, set cookie then distribute
