    basic but to the point.

    gives some good ideas for getting started.

    i would like to see a follow up article detailing more advanced ways of gaining traffic.

    all in all a well written article though

    Omg, this joe guy is so me lol. I agreed with everything accept contest, many people are using your site just because the contest, they will all leave as soon as its over. If you get 100 people only 10 will stay. I have seen many sites do this.

    If you think contests is the way to go. I suggest you give several prizes and frequent contest. I rather have 10 $100 contest over a period of 5 months, than 1 $1,000 contest with 2 prizes.
