I am looking for a CMS script or software that stores content in a static html file. I cant find any on the internet. I seen some that stores to a database and afterward you can export to static html but I need it to store to a database for searching and to an html file for displaying to visitors. Is there anything out there like this?

Perhaps the following 2 CMS are what you are after:
    CuteNews.ru - http://english.cutenews.ru/scott/index.php
    CuteNews - http://cutephp.com/

Cutenews.ru is a fork of cutenews.

Yes these store the content in a flatfile format. I am looking for something that stores the page a html file. No cache programming is needed for a ststic html file. Let me know your ideas. Thanks

The performance of this script starts to degrade when the site reaches over 2MB. I have a size requirement much more than this.
