    Hi,

So I got many of my accounts disabled today - and got this email -

Facebook account shows up as - Account Disabled!

So what do you think? Facebook is finally getting it's act together? Or is this just temporary BS?

I have a few accounts that haven't been banned. Did you log onto them from the same IP address? If so that's probably part of the problem!

Yeah that sucks, I got one banned today too. Just means we will have to be more creative. And yeah make sure we use different Ip's for each account. Which is why I think I got caught!

Like any huge company, Facebook may take a while to catch on....but they eventually do.

What are you using multiple accounts for? Mafia Wars can't possibly be taken that seriously, can it?

Lol, if you think a user from this forum is making multiple accounts for Farmville or Mafia Wars. You must be gravely mistaken my friend.

It was total 100% pure Affiliate Marketing :)

What was the topic of the page? You pretty much cannot create a page that represents a brand or company that isn't yours.

Yes, you will get banned for having more than 1 Facebook account, regardless of if it's for Mafia Wars or anything else...it's in the terms of service.

Guys enough with your childish responses already!

This was just an informational post showcasing that Facebook has begun banning accounts. I know what works with facebook and what doesn't.

I have a few hundred accounts with facebook and innumerable seed accounts. So Relax.

Yes if you sign in multiple accounts with the same ip address you will obviously get banned. Try using some vpn services as the ip address is anonymous.

Well I doubt that they only ban for login with the same IP on multiple accounts. I mean everyone who logs in over an Internetcafe or open wireless network would have get banned then, cause he was probably not the first on this IP to login to facebook. Or what about family members using the same computer to login to their accounts.

I'm confused about the logging in from the same IP address, too. What about a large family (I'll bet we've had ten different people log on to different accounts in a day from our house!), a business, a college dormitory - or someone who manages/works on accounts for others.

Stop acting like little kids. I just posted it to inform you that maybe facebook is getting it's act together.

I have hundreds of other FB accounts and many more pages - so that's the least thing that bothers me at the moment.

They did this to me yesterday too. They banned 5 of my 6 accounts because I was half asleep and forgot to reset my router to change the IP between each login, so they banned the 5 that I used from the same IP :(

I'm thinking there is some kind of limit, say 10 accounts per IP, before they would flag you for it. Most families have individual accounts, and FB knows this. But after 10 or so accounts they know it's not that big of a family and start looking at it.

More than anything I think someone reported you for spam. Out of millions of users, you have to do something to get their attention like that. And the easiest way is to get reported for spam. It's the same thing with Twitter, you can do all kinds of stuff on there without getting in trouble, but as soon as someone flags you for spam, the audit goes through and they start disabling accounts.

What was the "hateful, threatening, or obscene" content you had on there?
