The Era of Google is Coming to an End

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but it seems like, due to the very strict policies Google has been adopting lately, particularly with Adwords, that marketers will slowly start looking towards other means of advertising.

I know Facebook has a good ad system that is not as strict and you can target your market extremely well.

    Any thoughts on this?

Adwords surely have some strict policies but Google is "Giant" company, it will not die soon that's for sure.

The Google guys will surely come up with new ideas to make revenue if one of their service is not doing well.

Very unlikely, even if their policies become more strict. Google is so massive compared facebook or any other site.

And once Google feels their revenues are taking a hit, the will loosed the strings once again I am sure.

AdWords has no real alternative right now and as far as Bing & Yahoo don't increase their market share... it will continue to be that way.
Google don't even care about Facebook. Companies like Google and Microsoft are able to kill Facebook in no time if they wish so.

I've seen a lot of these Google is coming to an end posts. I think its complete BS. Google is a giant company, it's end is far from over. Google is just making changes, You need to adopt with these changes.

The more popular you are, the more strict you get. Imagine if Facebook gets their share of scammers? Do you think they'll still be less strict? It's a vicious cycle.

Oh and that wouldn't qualify as the End of the Google Era.

Google is focusing on SMEs as its perspective customers. Millions of SMEs are there who have website on internet, google will provide them advertising platform, will earn more money and will be much bigger than it is now.

Well all of us internet marketers believe google is evil, or at the very least overly strict but we still use it as users and marketers so there's not other alternative at the moment... too bad but that's how it is
