The End Of Ringtones?

Is it just me or has March so far been terrible for ringtones? I know it's only a few days in, and hopefully things turn around, but I haven't been getting much of anything.

I hope this isn't the start of the end for ringtones...

It's probably too early in the month to make any speculations like that though.

What until the iPhone comes out... I doubt one will need a ringtone company when they already have real music on the phone.

Let me ask one question - Do Azoogle pay via Paypal or Moneybookers ?

How much do you make per month ?

The iPhone may hurt the market a little, but remember it's exclusive for Cingular users only, and it really expensive. Ringtones should still be almost as huge after the release of iPhone (which is in June for the person that asked).

They pay via check or direct deposit.

You're not going to get many people saying how much they make here :p.

What's the harm in saying a rough figure of your monthly earning ?

Well I'm just saying, not most people go around saying what they earn. What the heck though...

I started with Azoogle about a month and a half ago and I'm at $x,xxx/monthly now.

Lots of work. I share some affiliate tips in my blog (in sig). But nobody is going to tell you all of their "secrets", even though it's mostly just hard work and research.

$x,xxx/month are pennies compared to a lot of people using Azoog.

iphone comes out in june by cingular. expect ringtones to grow with this phone since it's a new pricey phone and people putting that much into a phone, always want to accessorize it with ringtones and games right? :)

As for Azoo, yes it is a major down for me for the last week.
But other networks still perform GREAT. Just try my signature and you will never regret it 8))

Ringtones are not dead... if you evaluate ringtone traffic March and April are probably th SLOWEST months (after holiday slump) and Before Summer Slump.

Well I only asked basically just because I was curious if anybody else was seeing an abnormal downward spike in ringtones this month, because I am (when I hadn't in previous months), and some people I know that were killing with ringtones are also experiencing a big slump.

But like I said probably too early to speculate, and just have to work harder :).

Ringtone searches are constantly trending downwards. Add to that the legal problems with these services, and I don't think it's going to get any easier....
