The END of Clickbank Salespages?

Hey guys...do you think its the end of the long clickbank salespages?
I'm wondering if I should try more of a blog approach on my future sites.

What are your thoughts on the long salesletter clickbank sites, especially
    heading into 2012?

    Cheers.

i also read something in the CLICKBANK CLIENT CONTRACT that says "" You will not incorporate any variation of or misspell any third-party trademarks or other brand identifiers in any domain name, username or other identifier, including on any social networking site. "" ...does this mean i cannot promote a productif i have the product name in my domain name??

I just think you can't use variations or misspelled words like some people have done to trick the search engines. Like for example if there is a product called Hot Diggity Dogs and you advertise it like Hot Diggity Dogz. You can no longer do that. Im sure you can still use the correct spelling of a product name in your domain name. But, email them to be sure. I dont see why not. How else is someone going to search for a product?

i hope they get back to me soon,i sent them an email earlier today..i think the changes clickbank is about to implement will increase conversion rates,,because sales pages will be redefined to clickbanks specifications and will increase customers trust in the products the want to buy because all materials used will be more straight forward and not too ambigious

LMAO not much is going to change. I'd say the clickbank salespages will have very little changes. There is absolutely nothing to worry about.

There is something to worry about. I got an email that says I'm not in compliance. The only thing I think they might have a problem is with my "Regular price $49 Today's Price = $37.00" i thought I'd be fine since the new terms say you can't say it is reduced. I don't say that. I'm going to raise the price to $49 for a bit and then drop it back to $37.

Why they would send me an email and then not tell me what is wrong, i don't get it. Instead they said send an email to if I have questions.

My product is not IM related so there are no claims about how much money it will make you so I don't see who my testimonials could be an issue. Just people saying they like my eBook.

They said since I had a leading product in a category that my site was reviewed.

You kinda contradicted yourself there buddy. I am fine with CB doing that. So many sales pages use this marketing tactic. The regular price never was $49 you are just trying to suggest that the visitor is getting a discount when they're not. If a regular brick and mortar retail store was to use the same marketing tactic they'd have a lot to answer to let me tell you.

I didn't contradict myself at all. I didn't say one thing and then say the opposite.

And in fact, they are getting a discount on what the book is worth. Even if they were not, I still didn't contradict myself.

long sales letters have more conversions because people won't read them just scroll and enjoy the graphics and then just hit the order now :).. but most of the blind sales pages has high refund rate..

may be in 2012 we can see some video sales pages with just a video and order now button.... also new clickbank policy will be a pain in ass for most of the vendors.

but why would they rush to find the PRDER NOW button if they havent been presold before...they will also rush to buy if they have read or head good info about the worth of what they are about to buy....a new visitor wiil definitely like to read through, but you need not bore them with a long sales page...

It just means no more black hat stuff like fake "as seen on CNN, ABC..etc" and misspelling the products trademark.

I certainly hope that we'll see less long hypie salesletters, and more relevant usefull video salesletters that actually explains what you buy and shows what you will get instead of avoiding to tell you what you are about to buy.... a more serious approach would be appreciated. And it should be a problem with conversions since good videos convert just fine. Those who think out of the box might make sales pages more interactive, like a game or something where you can earn some free bonuses.... ?
