The Element of Style - who keeps this handy?

    A friend suggested I get this as a reference book, picked a used copy up off eBay and to be honest, I havent' even opened it yet, but I know I should.

    Who keeps this book handy and why? Any other books you suggest?

    Yep, I've got a copy.

    I've not needed it for a while, but it's great for reference and if you ever get stuck.

    A handy tool to have for sure. For ten bucks or whatever it's all you need. When I was doing more journalism and newspaper style stuff, having the AP handbook was essential.

    I have it on my bookshelf and read it every once in awhile to refresh my memory. It's actually one of my favorite books.
