The effect of using /nofollow on the links on your PR

    Hi there,

I have a website with a link to the CSS template maker at the bottom of each page. Should I be using /nofollow on that link? What about links to other sites on my 'link' page?

If you dont want to pass on your own PR to the site its linking to then use nofollow.

If you use dofollow the "link juice" will be passed on.

I think it should be no-follow.

Nofollow links are not worst as usual. They help in getting ranking in search results.

I actually see many benefits in using nofollow (when links are not paid for); will send your pagerank to your own pages instead of external sites + helps you rank higher.

I would leave it as is as compliment for the template creator and it would not affect your rankings, unless it became a not so good site.

When you do not want to pass the PR juice of your website to other as they link to you, you should use no-follow. Though no-follow are disgusted by those who believe only about do-follows, no-follows are actually still considered and use as a factor by Google in ranking websites.
