This post is falling into an abyss as usual. I have travelled arcoss the world, made more money than I ever dreamed of, and had more responsibily than I could handle. So I guess I am posting on how it feels to acheive a dream, and what comes next. It's all good. Work hard, Dream, do your job well and you will be rewarded. I need goals to keep me alive. I suspect we all do. I worked for 11 years at msft and I've worked side by side with honest normal people worth millions, and but I've also been cut to the bone by the rude dude at the grocery store, making min wage. I've actually been on the great wall of china. (with my boss) and also on the steps of the opera house in sydney, wondering WTF am I doing here. Where is my family. It's cool and all to talk about, but honestly what does it matter? This is just my history. past, over, done. And no one that I care about really cares to talk about it. Money, sucess, or even love does not buy happiness. Once you reach the goal you set, you realise that we are human and we are all naturally unsatisfied. (I suppose we'd of died out without this trait.) I strive to be the best person I can. I've been lucky to realise many goals, but at the core it is all about who you are on the inside, and the relationships you have. So I dont mean to depress any of you. Keep dreaming! We all need this. I hope you reach your goals. Just keep it in perspective. You will be the exact same person you are now after acheiving it. Love your family and don't forget them as you pursue your dreams.
Too touching.... Well I believe in the same way that you do... just a slight addition... you have achieved what you dreamed of and we are on the way of achieving them... Maney can buy everything but it can not buy love... too precious in ones life... without it you are dead...
I’m not any different from you Manish. It's just perception. I came from difficult times. If I can do it, you can too. We are all just a people working hard on a dream. I was at one point as rude as the dude at the grocery store. But I was lucky (blessed really) and at that point I realised the rude guy had nothing other to hope for. Love hard. Dream big, Strive hard. Life is an incredible gift. You could have 1 million in the bank tomorrow, but if no one loves you back what do you have? Nothing. Major point is to love your family. Be true to your ideals. Your family loves you through thick and thin. And then once you reach your goal, all you are left with is who you are as a person. If you follow my timeline, this is when you are lucky enough to worry about your soul, (who you are inside) you will become much less concerned with external items mentioned above. Live like we did in kindergarden. It's all about you. Good Luck and God Bless!
