    Dear All,

I have blog that is around 2 weeks old. When I search on the keyword that is related to my blog using Google.com, it appears in the top 10 of the search result.

However when I do a search on google.com.<myregion> my blog does not appear.

Any advice or answers would be much appreciated. Sorry if this question have been ask before.

Because different Google region gets result from different data centers. Your site more likely indexed on Google US data center.

Google have many datacenter according to region if you want to rank on all datacenter then you must create quality content and good back links.

Connecting to your local datacenter according to region, and SERP different from .com , it is more relavent to your location.

You have to make a decision if you want your site to be specific to your country or not, eg I am in the UK and I sell products only to the UK, so its not worth me to rank in google.com, I would rather all my promotion efforts went to ranking in google.co.uk, therefore you have to have a google webmasters account and then set your location to UK, this wont be necessary if you have the right url extension....eg a co.uk / .org.uk ect..but if you have a .com .org .net etc then you need to do it.

In google webmaster tools, under the “tools” tab, there is an option called “Set Geographic Target”.

So ask yourself, is it worth for you to rank more in google.com or in your region ?

Nice, but how can you make a difference between rankings in Google.com and Google(in your region). I think both of them requires building links and contents but what is the difference?

If you have a web site with a ,com domain name rather than a domain name that is <your region>, I guess that Google will not bias to your region.
