The Difference Between DigitaPoint and Digitalpoint

    I discovered the difference by accident. I misspelled the url of DigitalPoint that it became forums.digitapoint.com

    Guess what you will see in this site. Is it trying to benefit from the popularity of Digital Point?

    There are a lot of webmasters that make money from domains that are mispellings of popular websites.

    I thought there were laws in having simular names etc... maybe thats only if both sites are doing exactly the same thing.

    Someone even got a misspelled version of one of my domains, I mean it has not even gone a year and they think they will get a lot of traffic.. Even my domain doesnt get so much for now and it will probably take a while too.. :eek:

    nice idea.. I wonder how much traffic it gets though. It would become more attractive if it turns out to be a black DP like some underground DP forum to speak things that we cannot here.. LOL :p
