The difference between a marketing concept and marketingplan

My teacher gave me a bad grade for my marketing concept and said I only described a marketingplan which possibly could be an manifestation out of a marketing concept but isn't a concept itself.

Now I'm a bit confused, what exactly is a marketing concept then? Im just confused at the moment what I should write down in my paper as the marketing concept.

Anyone who can explain me the difference?

Forget about the word "marketing" and just look at the words "concept" and "plan". If you google their definition they'll look something like this:

Concept - An abstract idea or something you've just thought of.

Plan - A detailed proposal for doing or achieving something.

I see a significant difference there.

Hello! In my opinion marketing plan implicates achieving some goals of your company in future, it is detailed and logically structured. The concept is like a philosophy of your company on the whole.
