The description that shows up in the SERPS?

    Hey,

I noticed that each search engine is different. For instance, Yahoo, usually only shows the part of your Meta description that has the keyword which has been searched for. I have noticed on some sites like Dell's for instance...that their actual
on their main page is different than what shows up as the link on the SERPS. How do they do this? Also, I searched Dell's page source, and I don't even see the description (below the link) that shows up on Yahoo. The Meta Description in Dell's source code is different. For instance:

Dell offers custom configuration of personal computers, portables and servers. Learn more about Dell's Client & Enterprise Solutions, Software, Peripherals and Services. How are they doing this?

That is what shows up on Yahoo, but I don't see either of those on Dell's homepage. How do they do this?

    Thanks.

Dang...I think I just figured it out. All of the sites that have the different info...are in Yahoo's directory. I think that's what it is. The info in teh SERPS matches the info on the Y! Directory.
