I am sick of the 'death of' wave clouding the Internet Marketing industry. Big marketers coming up with such reports like 'death of IM' or 'death of Network Marketing' etc etc have become commonplace. And at the end of it, all they do is sell one of their products... how lame!
Actually, Death of Network Marketing isn't selling anything I believe, don't take my word for it though.
Email has become much less prevalent than previously. RSS is taking over for most web subscriptions to newsgroups. Also, IM programs greatly replaced email for a lot of internet communication especially since most people can now leave there IM programs open all day. Of course, it won't be completely dying anytime soon, and I don't know anyone who has decided to stop using it completely.
Ruddeen, I can't see THAT happening for A WHILE, but in this world, you never know... As *change* is the ONLY *constant*, unfortunately sometimes...
Email has been around longer than the internet (the public one). It's roots began with bulletin boards more than 20 years ago. It's not going anywhere. I remember when it took 2-3 days for an email to arrive. Now it's in seconds.
