As I sit here in the fine coffee shop in the Virginia Highlands section of Hotlanta I wonder, how do other webmasters spend their day. Mine has a obscure rhythm to it. I usually have to wake up a 5:30 am to get to my job as a teacher early to make up for the time I left after afternoon tutorial so I could go work on my new idea. I get home an hour before my girlfriend where I check my personal emails and try to sneak out to the coffee shop with my buddy Walker to at least it looks like I make actually make a profit someday. I then go through emails from clients, usually some IMs, check the latest extensions on Joomla, post on DP if anyone needs help with Joomla or if I am frustrated with Google. I answer a few questions on my chemistry help site. Then I begin thinking about which sites have the most potential the whole time thinking I really need to finish the form validation on this one guy's database filter. Then I usually get stuck figuring out something in Drupal and then arguing myself whether the merits of using either. By the time I get home, I usually have a speech about how I need to clean my house or cook for her. We watch some reality show that I care nothing about and then go to bed.
haha, i know how you feel about those reality shows... my girlfriend makes me watch that new one "pickup artist" on MTV hahaha
You have a busy life,it is good to be busy.Below is my life: I weak up at 6:30,read my book for a while when i am still in bed. I put on my clothes,take several minutes for rinse,ride my bike to work as a export in a company just after having my breakfast. It takes me 8 hours a day to work in that company,i usually visit dp for a while and get a zizz at noon after my lunch. After working i rush into my cabin cook for my family and wait for them back from work. After meal,i read my book for a while which i have read on the morning. Then turn on my computer,check dp messages & update my sites,while listening to songs or watching movie. I go to bed when i find it is already midnight and it is so crazy to stay up any longer
your life are similar to mine XD. I get up around 6-7.00 am to look after my son then send him to kindergarten on 8am then come back home start reading DP forums and thinking how can i make money out of it. Also try to brainstorm the ideas for my new sites. check the timetable is today s the morning shift to teach or after noon and go to work. back from work eat diner/lunch and then sit infront of computer to think and work again. check DP again before sleep and see if there is anything i can download through bittorent. set the computer on whole night and go to bed XD
I wake up at 5.00 or 7.00 depending on th day. Usually wakes up at 5.00 in the morning on Mondays. Then after the usual chores I go to college at 9.00, stay there till 4.00. Get back home by 7.30 because my college is a good 65 KM away from my place. Once I come home I switch on the computer, check my gmail, update whatever sites I am working on at that time.
