same thing with literature critics, they write a review even if they stay far from the subject.. lazy people, who don't has better sparetime
star trek vi: undiscovered country .. book was a ton better than the movie. had a great back story not in the movie that made the rest of it make a little more sense. (still, 2nd best star trek, to wrath of khan though )
yes many people say so about this movie and book. thats why i watched movie before i read book.lol Actually many people advice to see movie before you read the book.
Personally I thought "The Voyage Home" capture the essense of all that is "Star Trek". The subtle humor mainly from Spock, ie., colourful metaphors", etc.
Yes this is fascinating. The words spock uses are really cooooool.I love the first star trek very much.
WOW So this is something brave statement. We must admit that we have a man who have guts to say what he feels.May be the feeling is right or wrong but he has said what he wants to say.
I don't understand what the big deal is about the Davinci Code. It was just another one of Dan Brown's pretty cheesy action novels. It doesn't break any ground as far as literature and the theme is old and hackneyed. He started it off well with his criticism of the catholic church, but he pussed out at the end and made it a fairly happy PC ending the masses could love. God, but I hate him. The plot follows a generic action story line and is exactly like all of his other books. I have not yet seen the movie, but I am sure it is even more boring and ridiculous than the book. Dan Brown basically played off popular sentiments, made a huge amount of money and didn't really contribute anything to the social arena.
