I don't know anything about that. I just think the trailers look super lame. :)

In India the broadcasting minister watched the movie with Bishop.
It is being released with desclaimer that 'It is work of fiction' and it will be for Adults only who can make difference between fiction and reality (I doubt adults can differentiate too lol)
So for Indians legally, it will be just immaginery story so one can not compare with reality.

Dang, now I'm gonna go see it. Cool torches rock!

P.S. How can you make a movie with that girl from Amelie and have her be so dull??? She didn't look like she had any personality in those commercials at all, and all the reviewers said the same thing.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it for what it is, a movie. It reminded me of National Treasure which I also enjoyed. It can in no way what so ever change what really happened and that we'll never know, but the movie did contain one big undisputable truth; many have died under the theory of 1 god and many more sadly will.

Just watched the movie, and it was great. It's 98% like the book on screen, wondeful adaptation to the movies, much better than the Lord of Rings trilogy in my opinion.

It's just a work of fiction that has been spotlighted due to the subject matter. It's just like all of the other movies that take some historic truth and create a fictional landscape out of it.

Ironically, it's the actions of those who want to ban this movie that are most contributing to its popularity.

many people are discussing that it is apread intentionally about bad acting by tom hanks and the movie is bad and that to with the help of famous critics.
I personally feel that it is very hard to believe that tom hanks can act bad.But I haven't seen a movie. Can anyone who has seen the movie comment on that?

Like I said, I enjoyed the movie, but my brain is always in high gear and when I watch a movie I like to turn off my brain and not think too much. Take it for what it is, a movie, then sit back, don't analyze and you'll probably enjoy it.

I think readers of the book will probably love it (judging by everything I've read) as it seems to be incredibly faithful to the book -- to a fault, from what I hear. Then again, if a movie lasts over 2 hours, there better be gladiator matches or grand battles, or I ain't comin'. :D

I just had a flashback to Schindler's List. I took a date to see that movie when it came out. I remember sitting there wishing a German would jump out from the screen and take me off to camp. There are some movies that you should wait for home viewing. :D

For those that don't know, the movie was 3 hours and 15 minutes long. :D

This is the best way to watch a movie. You will enjoy a movie only when you do this particularly when you are not critic or media person invited on premier of any movie lol. When you have to buy a ticket this is always recommended method.:D

I've not had a chance to read the book, but it is on my list. Just an FYI, the author did admit in an interview that it more more fiction than fact.
