good day fellas.. Im really thinking of getting into the dating niche as I have heard that it's a lucrative market aside from ringtones and adult sites..... I feel really good about entering this dating niche... I already have created my squeeze page and even did some fake friendster accounts taht will lead to the site... I also have decided that I can put up $200 for start up cost.. any more advice? thanks....
I used to market heavily in the dating niche with a business partner that specializes in online dating. He makes over $40,000 per MONTH profit promoting online dating sites through Adwords. A couple words of advice... * Don't use fake accounts to forward to your sites. They reek of spam and put a bad taste in the visitor's mouth. * Create different landing pages and PPC campaigns for different niches in dating, as well as different pressure points. FriendFinder is GREAT for this. They have different sites for every niche and tons of different landing pages you can point to. You can also create different landing pages on your own site that talk the visitor into clicking through (because you can't link directly to FF from Adwords as they're already advertising themselves) * Get resell rights to a good dating ebook and give it away free to anyone who signs up to the dating site AND/OR to your own email list. I think the hardest part is finding dating CMS software, since all of the ones on the market suck in their own way.
Try really unique niches the more specific the better, start a site for "lesbian mothers" or "little people", or "golddiggers" try something crazy, sometimes these bizarre niche dating sites can pick up popularity quickly
