thx kaparo. i think this war is good for advertisers. let's see how ypn improves its ad targeting after beta.

i think if YPN lowers the payout, many publishers will jump back to adsense which has more advertisers and better ad targeting technology.

    Good article.
It seems to describe the current situation all too well.

I sure wished YPN could target.
If Google has 400,000 advertisers, and Yahoo has 200,000, don't you think that YPN could serve up relevant ads at least 1/2 of the time? But that is not the case. So YPN poor ad relevance cannot be blamed on "not enough advertisers". The problem is truly the inability to match the ads properly.

MSN is just way too late.

The targeting for my ads seems to have improved a lot over the last few weeks. Are noticing any improvement?

I can't imagine what is stopping MSN. They sure have resources to build system like adsense/YPN in short time.

That is the date for their AdCenter program to be out of the pilot, not the date for their AdSense/YPN competitive product ContentAds.

If Msn pays much more then AdSense when they come out i think they have a good chance to attract mayor publishers.
