Your site is cool, and you should be proud of it, but I have to agree...the navigation fonts could be a little "cooler".
I don't think they fit well with the rest of the site. Something a little more modern perhaps ?

The title "Opinion" looks to be a little crowded compared to the rest of them.

But it is pretty nice

It's nice frontpage and overal well design.

If you like, let me be the first one to give some suggestions:

1. You may want to adjust to a bigger margin for the content pages/posts. Such as 20px? At the moment it's displaying text too close to the big black border and make it's harder to read.

2. The footer is showing green leaves. I don't have any thing against the leaves, but I don't feel it's perfectly fit to that place, especially the footer navigation is there. I think some more snow will make it look better.

I agree with this. I may be the minority but I think it looks far from the best site I've seen today. I know you may be looking for a unique design, but it doesn't mean you can't make it look clean and color friendly. Sorry for this critique but it's just my opinion.

Just goes to show that personal taste counts for a lot. You only have to look at something like plentyoffish.com to see that design isn't that important.

I think the design could be improved though and personally I would lose the cloud background as it makes it look like a hobby site. Try looking for some inspiration on csselite or stylegala if you want to improve the design.

Great site...I noticed some leaves on the bottom that resembled marijuana leaves..I might be wrong...But if is...It may give a lot of visitors the wrong idea about that site...other then that..the site is Hott...

We just had a bunch of new content come in - two articles and a new cover shot (the top image)!! GO CHECK IT OUT So instead of doing some tweaks to the design I have been spending some time to help put that together. I am reading all of the comments here though!


- To the comment that the leaves should be replaced with something more relevant, such as snow: To some people around here, those leaves are MORE IMPORTANT on the mountain than the snow itself (just kidding)


- To the comment that a design means nothing, just look at PLENTY OF FISH: Realise that PLENTY OF FISH is designed in such a fashion for a reason. The somewhat confusing design creates an incredibly high clickthrough rate for the google ads which are prominent throughout the website. TRUST ME, if a better design would give them a better profit, you would see it.
