Tell them to get your site to First Rank in Google for the word "google" and that you will pay them 100 Million Dollars post-job and wont give any advance

Do your homework before going with any companies like this. Ask if they do this via black hat SEO - if the answer is yes, then avoid them. Also, if you really are interested in checking them out, then make sure they gaurantee you so you can get your money back if they don't deliver.

It seems that the decision is simple based on community comments,i will tell them to get lost, they must be torn from the web!

Tell them to get you listed first and then you will pay.

set an agreement page 1 for search key words and you pay fee.
top 5 get bonus fee then you can agree on maintanace fees.

This is how I do it when I do SEO work for my clients.

You can't tell how much work it is going to be until you get started.
keywords that look easy can turn out to be hard to get listed.

I don't think you'll find may SEO's who'll be prepared to worlk like that, especially for a competitive keyword.

I certainly wouldn't! In most cases SEO's need a large linkbuilding budget so you have to pay upfront.

I finally made some leeway with my seo as far as non disclosure aggreements. As soon as he got permission to use a client as a reference he got flooded with requests.. I had a feeling that this would happen. His next problem is how to grow without hiring too many workers (thats a good problem to have). I wont try to figure out how he seems to get these sites to the top ten but when he starts talking linkbuilding i feel like im an earthling and hes from the alpha centauri system lol
