Im trying to remove like 10000 music tracks from my computer. I have hundreds of duplicate songs for some reason, any duplicate song will be Song Name.mp3 Song Name 1.mp3 All the songs are in a master folder and then in sub folders. Can windows use Regex for searching for files in the GUI I basically want to do something like this. (a-zA-z0-9)+ 1.(a-zA-z0-9){1,3} How would you pull it off?
the best you can do is, go to download.com and search for a software that dose such a thing. i think there are tools available that deletes duplicare files, i remember system mecanics do this kind of work,
By any chance do you use iTunes? I've heard stuff that with one wrong click all your music just duplicates.
