    I've been saying for 10 years, we need to start charging countries for patrolling the Persian Gulf with our Navy for the last 20 years.
    No reason we should put ourselves out, while others enjoy the fruits of protected oil shipments, and further stabilizing their economies, and we get nothing in return.
    If the U.S. Dollar gets into "real" trouble., do you think anyone will remember how important those security patrols are to the stability of the World Economy?
    NO.
    We are on our own.
    Totally off subject, but not really. It's a matrix of things that contribute to everyones economy.

    Publishing the M2 figure is enough. Explain to me why it isn't.
    We don't need the M3 figure because it double counts the money and the dollar amount which is not part of the US money supply.
