The Chamber of Commerce

I was told by a very successful entrepreneur once that he attributes a lot of his success to being a member of organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce.

My question is, do you have to have a physical business to be eligible for this kind of organization? Has anyone joined the Chamber of Commerce? And if so, what kinds of benefits do you experience?

I'm only 18 and have an abstract business, but yet wanted to join the organization. I wouldn't even know where to start .

Stop by your chamber in your area and ask. It does'nt matter how abstract you are as long as you follow there laws.

Ah well I looked at their webpage and apparently it is mainly for business owners in the local area. I live 20 miles away from the area in a small town, so I don't think it will work out.

    Perhaps when I move :)
