The BUY/TRADE SECTION - Should NOT Be Free Anymore

Okay guys.

The BUY/TRADE section on Digital Point is excellent and its one area where you can sell your product.

However, having said that I think a lot of JUNK is being sold on there. I think Shaun should charge like $10 to post on there. It should not be free, I would be happy to pay to post my product on there.

P.S Its just out of frustration. Too many people are scamming innocent members!

 

Well, I have to agree with you to a degree there is a lot of scamming going on in those forums and if there was some sort of subscription fee to have the right to post in them then there would probably be less scamming going on.

 

I think the admins should look into this. I know the Warrior Forum charges $20 to post a WSO.

Lets have some sort of order as too many people are posting $2 threads in the hope of making a quick buck.

 

I prefer the BST section to remain free, but there has to be some restrictions there like no currency exchanges or asking for loans where most of the scams are coming from.

 

I doubt it is going to happen.

At the end of the day, this is a community and the system tries to keep the good persons in. With currency exchanges, some people aren't using their brains, despite there being a sticky on the topic.

you know that 50% of dp traffic goes to the BST section
so dp will loose that 50% of their visitors and also 50% of ad revenue

 

Ya i agree,BST section should be free,may be some kind of restriction on money exchange threads.

 

DP would be a very empty forum without that section being free..

 

I think it should be free. The reason we have iTrader is so that you can be assured that the person you are buying from is legit. If you get scammed be sure to leave negative iTrader and post it on the thread.

 

once a scammer, always a scammer. They willing to paid in order to scam others. So, im vote to let BST remain free.

 

I don't really use the B/S/T section yet.. But i think it should remain free.. There are other forums out there if you feel the pay for access..

 

I would like it it stay Free but with more restrictions like numbers of posts / days spent on forums / ....ect

Making this section paid will affect its popularity and the quality of the forum in general

I think it should remain free. Though there are some scamming is going but we should also consider some members for whom dp is like god. They are earning some bucks by providing their service. and in opposite, webmasters are getting very good service at very low price.

 

DP is popular because of its free marketplace.

And we have some excellent moderators to tackle the spam

 

dont you think the scammers will just pay the fee and scam away $10 in for $100 out is still a good scam
currency exchanges are not wise deals to get involved with online really .. use your head and stay well clear
