the brand name in the domain name can cause copyright ??

    I just read a thread about Amazon Affiliate and someoen says that the brand name in the domain name can cause copyright !Is that real?How can I solve it for I ahve build a site that contain a brand name in the domain!

    You will surely have a problem with using a brand name in your domain name... unless of course you take a written permission from the original company itself. You are bound to lose it as soon as your efforts begin to bear fruit and your site becomes visible! :(

    Most certainly it can cause a huge problem, since its a trademark infringement from your end. The company whose brand is mentioned in the domain name can take legal action against you for that reason.

    I think it is always a problem to use a brand name in the domain. It will cause a lot of problems. I would delete the domain as soon as possible
