I have the registered copyright for "The Book That Wrote It's Self" Which I planned to be A series of books by numerous authors revolved around a writers club! Two Books I started and that can be edited in "Non Plagiarised" Official agreed by the club and original author editions include the first 2 titles I wrote into play which we're The Magnificent Book of Vampires and Clevalier High Versions of which along with other titles by myself and others will be available from a location yet to be announced
"The Book That Wrote It's Self" When it has an apostrophe, you should be able to read it as it is. The book that wrote it is self. So you might want to take the grammatical error out of the title.
I was just about to say that. Having errors in your title or introduction can be very detrimental to your book/club's reputation.
I've read the original post six times and I don't see a point. So, you registered something. And? Are people supposed to look at it? Do you have a question somewhere? Do you want people to join your club?
You all are already writing a part of it now! The Typo is deliberate btw I occasionally make deliberate tping errors to test waters and things. (See PterJones.tv forum for further info) That is because the writers club is planned to teach! Also because I own some cartoon "Teddy Bear" characters named the "Double T ted's that are 6028+ spelling mistakes like affiliatted hostted investted etc These 6028+ Teddy Bear Characters are also accompanied by a few hundred titles as well as some beginnings to stories Hence "The Book That Wrote Its' Self" Which I registered with the UK copyright office of Goverment! vip-ip It is all about writing and writers helping each other and others by working with each other to produce works that can then be produced by others in a different version. Also a depository of titles some of which will already have stories and outlines with ideas for poeple to work with and adapt. I think that sums up some of it at least.
Intentional misspellings may work for some audiences, but in general they're not going to work for writers. Know your target better before jumping into things. And what did you mean when you said we're already writing a piece of it now? You're not planning to somehow use these forum posts, are you? If so, rethink that unless you get permission from the posters. If not, please clarify. From what I'm gathering, it sounds like you just want to build one great big swipe file with ideas and such, and almost a collection of group-compiled PLR-like content. Does that about sum it up?
I would have been slightly more interested if you'd actually owned up to the mistake instead of using a phony excuse.
The Book that embarrassed its' self - brilliant alteration and addition to the titles to include! The Magnificent Book of Embarrassing Moments - could also be added to The Magnificent Book of (Subject) - Titles that is also incorporated into the overall teaching pacakge. BTW I am keyboard dyslexic (type way to fast without spellcheck toomuch as time is money) so derogatory comments go straight over my head as I have found a way to use typo's in a "White Hat" way that the search engines are not going to dislike. I have a theory that pulling people up on spelling mistakes is something that stops a lot of people from posting on forums and keeps them lurking for fear of not being able to hold up their end by making mistakes. But I intentionally make typos for a bigger plan which will become clear as time goes by. (It is partly to help others is enough to say for now!) jhmattern I am sorry but I [presently] am (without searching it) not au fait with what PLR is? (An abbreviation of a profession most likely - for the learning readers). Love your posts that I have read though. When I have things properly set up I will be more able to answer your questions. But don't worry posts here will only be included in the best practise way of linking to said posts. It should all be clear by Xmas 2008 all going well. Seaside writer Y'all craic me up to"
