Hi all, I thought this might be fun. As it stands now, more than half my Amazon sales are for stuff I never promoted or even mentioned on my sites - about 60% in July. So I thought it would be fun to list our biggest sales of items that we didn't promote with Amazon Associates - the stuff that just popped up and paid us. Here are mine: $390 in Computer Memory $155 Mac Software Box Set $115 iPod Dock $90 Camera Flash $86 Speech Book What are yours?
$278 gps watch $234 mens boots $229 digital camera $224 camera lens $189 kindle $184 Camera lens several $75- $150 textbooks
I don't know my top ones of all time, but I was glad to see this in my earnings report last week! $3695 Inspire M4 Multi-Gym It came through a store in which I promote exercise bikes.
I recently promoted a digital camera and linked to Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 in passing in the content. Two days later, 2 of those Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 were sold at $1,149.99 each as well as 4 of the targeted cameras and lots of photography books and film memory. Now, that's what I call jackpot.
That is a great result! It shows you the power of simple text links (a lot of people have been talking about this recently) inside informative blog posts and articles. Great job and hope you get many more If you don't mind me asking, I take it you are doing some kind of digital camera review site or blog? How much time do you spend on the content?
I don't spend much time on the content per se, I would say roughly an hour or two. Where I spend time on is getting the right products to promote. I typically write a very long article targeting multiple products in one...so, I spend my time researching the products and merging them into one long and detailed post. So the majority of my time is spent getting the combination of products to promote.
