companies give to charity to look good. do you understand from this that giving to charity is bad or trying to look good to hide something is the bad thing to do?
Don't see the tie in. What I'm talking about is the need to focus on quality rather than quantity. You cant hope to cover every category there is and anyone who tries to pretend otherwise is already sliding down that slippery road of deceit and double speak. And at the risk of repeating myself once again Google has no problem with directory masters charging to review sites submitted to their directories. What is different about a site submitted by another web master? It either fits your editorial profile or it doesn't and the time you save by not having to search for it can be better spent building the resource you have a personal interest in. Where is the problem?
I think its the latter and it has unfortunately become so ingrained in this industry that few can see the wood for the trees.
