I believe the biggest asset is your own list. Why? It's traffic you own! You don't need to buy traffic through advertising or affiliates. This is totally your traffic and you don't need to rely on anyone else to get it. You can become JV partner. People will be banging down your door giving you business. You can analyse the list whenever you want. You can analyse your list, dividing it, targeting and segmenting it, and get the valuable information and ideas for future offers. Foot in the door. If you deliver value to your list, they'd be well pre-sold and more likely to purchase your recommendations. Make money on demand! The money is in the list. What more do I need to say? Do you agree?
for me the biggest asset that an internet marketer would be his time. We need time to work on our SEO and some time for our site to have some pr. Lastly, time is needed to get to the to of SERP and thus drives lot of traffic to your site.
I agree with you. An internet marketer's best asset is his own list. He can do anything with that, promote just about anything(no spam)
I agree. If you have your own list you can make money on demand.Building a list is something every marketer should do.All you need is a optin form on your site, an excellent freebie, and good information to send to your list. Those who send only marketing stuff to their list will see that many will unsubscribe.
In that case Li, I would have to agree with Danny. Content writers. No content then no good traffic b/c they won't stay to buy anything.
Sorry, but it's money. You cannot consistently make money, enough to pay your bills, without money to begin wth.
It is most definitely your list, that's why everyone tries to get your email and if you built your list correctly they will trust you and you will get 10%+ conversions on anything good that you suggest.
A list is useful if you're a publisher. Once, I built a sizable list for an affiliate product, only to have the product pulled by the publisher.
I'm not sure what you mean. I'm talking about building a list that's your own. It's not just for one product.
