How did we come into existence? I'm really not looking for religious answers as they are irrational and closed minded (which any smart religious person would agree with ). My opinion is that life came into existence in a very improbable event in which very big multiple planets collided and elements (including the heavy elements which we see on the periodic table, such as einsteinium) were built up in layers and layers. I think that cells started developing around the existence of water and soil etc.. and cells multiplied creating different species including apes and many other animals etc... However we came around, it was an EXTREMELY statistically improbable event, but if life occurs in say... 1/10000000000000 planets and there are 10000000000000000000000000000 planets or more in our space universe thing (some call it megaverse or ultraverse) then there may be life on other planets, this has a 100% possibility of happening because we're here thinking about it But the why and how will never be answered, it's simply to stir up arguments etc...so be your own philosopher (just don't push the boundaries of science because a religious divine creator is so out of the question...we may look like we've been created by something but really we've just adapted to our environment, it's deceiving) DABATE!
Don't forget that soil is a byproduct of the life processes and decay of living organisms, so it did not exist before the formation of life. I do agree that life is an improbable event at a given time but very probable in the space and time of the existing universe. Even before simple life forms have been created, natural selection is occuring as different elements and materials interact with others. Once life has started, the process of natural selection creates diversity over the span of billions of years. I'm not saying there is no God, just that I don't think God is necessary for life to exist. Perhaps God is necessary for the universe to exist in the first place, which is a much harder point to debate.
Before you talk about how life came into existence, you have to think about how water/soil/matter came into existence... From nothingness, I must add.
You are right on so many levels, I agree with you completely, except in the grand scale of things you actually will never know how probably life was/is...but yes once life has started it's down to natural selection
No, just life at the moment, matter is a thing that we will never ever uncover the creation/spawning/existence/coming about of
When I saw the thread title, I thought I may be asked to post pictures of my father's reproductive organ.
