May, 10, 2008 and still all Iranian accounts are blocked.
Millions of dollars from thousands of Iranians scammed by e-gold!
Gold & Silver Reserve (G&SR), Inc (eGold) has suspended all of Iranian accounts on 24 November 2006 without any notification.
Lacking any forthcoming explanation from e-gold, I would have to say this is reason for serious concern over the security of the e-gold system.

e-gold deletes them! Why do it without any notification?!

    The change we need
    e-gold closes all Iranian accounts

Well e-gold is dead for a long time because it is now working under the US gov and is closing any account which it finds suspicious , there is nothing you can do to get your money back sadly.

The principal director of E-Gold and CEO of Gold & Silver Reserve Inc. (Gold & Silver Reserve), Dr. Douglas Jackson, 51, of Melbourne, were arrested, on July 2008.

there are no new, its difficult to have accounts, with. pity.. what goes...

and there are some comments on PayPal too, its blocking accounts to pool their deficit/loss, when the PayPal accounts get scammed.

Paypal is not comparable to e-gold , paypal is registered and you can fight it out to get your money back(if some problem happens) whereas e-gold was illegal.

I have used e-gold before and its working well but after some case with the US federal I dont use it anymore because i do feel it would have problems later on and since paypal is already available in my country I have change it already.

Just logged in and updated some details. Apparently I have $685 there! Haven't logged in for over a year or more.

Wonder what can I use it for now? Any sites still accept egold or exchange it for anything else?
