I agree with what he said, it's quite true but there are other ways to monetize those visitors. It takes time and creativity however, but yes the majority of high earning sites are one-off sites as in the visitor visits them once and then leaves via the adsense. Those type of sites don't have a long shelf life though, because soon they gain enough negative exposure that they drop in some cases.
It's funny that only the people with crappy websites reply in this thread to say that it's not true. Start a real site, bring it up to 20k unique visitors a day, and then come back with your opinion. Giving your opinion about this when you run a site in the 2.000.000 + alexa rank is like bashing science as a creationist...If you don't run a large community website, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Exactly. We don't run large community websites because it is easier making money with content sites Each his own right.... Look why are you feeling attacked here ? It is not all in the numbers. Some have 20 visitors a day and pull better money than those with 20k...... Why you stick with adsense if it is not bringing you money you feel should ? And MFA really are not bringing REAL money. Those cents are just ... well cents ... of course there is always that 1% ....

Hmmm….You got your point over there. But maybe another way to interpret it, is to say, your site has pretty good contents but visitors want to learn more about it and looking for other sites that maybe sell the item that you’ve mentioned
