    So what ? There are tons of clients that request for copies of designs :S ... my client wanted a copy of that site .

    Who said it was an unique design by the way ?

    That proves you can copy designs?
    dvirhazout is right. You may not be directly scamming people but for the designer who ORIGINALLY created the design, you profited from that idea without giving any compensation back.
