I have written for a few different freelance sites. I have yet to try my hand at DP forums, but I am giving it some thought. I feel that I need to up my post count in order to post an ad in the BST section. This if fine with me.

As for scammers, I believe that you can find them anywhere you decide to look for work. I have written many articles that I have never received payment form.

Have you ever noticed how you can write something and then wait a couple hours head back and see that you made some really stupid spelling or grammar errors. Just wanted to point out that in my earlier post I actually was saying for, but spelt form and never noticed it. Maybe we should proofread our posts.

Constant Content is GREAT, and you can set your own price. People who buy the content there are willing to pay big bucks. Warning though - they are VERY persnickety, everything must be perfect!

Constant Content is a great avenue for selling giid quality work for a fair price. The 35% cut that Constant
Content take from sales is a bit on the high side but much of that cost can be passed onto the customer so set prices accordingly.

I've had a respectable degree of success on the site and have sold several articles for more than $50 which is fantastic. I've found that writing a bulk set of articles on one subject helps to gain a few additional sales especially if you advertise an article as being '1 of 8' or something similar when you submit your article summary.

Try to keep a close eye on public requests and recently sold content. By keeping tabs on articles that are likely to move quickly, you'll eventually make some respectable sales out of the site.

Yes - The editorial staff are strict but that can only be a good thing. It's the terrible standard of so much web content and copywriting that has dragged prices down for so many capable writers. Shame the guys at Constant Content can't reject all of the poor stuff we see posted to various sites.

It does have a lot of buying traffic because it ranks high for certain keywords in Google that webmasters would use to search for original paid content. However, the buyers are out-weighed by the amount of people trying to sell their content at high prices because writers know this is one of the best places to sell your services.

Also the editing part is brutal if you don't have a huge vocabulary. If you have a degree in writing you don't belong writing for websites, you should be writing for newspapers, magazines, and other such places. You should treat your skill as a career, and not just a freelancing job. A lot of freelance writers online, such as myself, get into the gig because they don't understand exactly how all this marketing stuff works, but also don't want to be stuck working at Burger King. So to those of us that don't have a college education and can't use 3 syllable words 25% or more of the time, the editing is pretty brutal.

Maybe it is worthwhile to some people who have well developed writing skills. Constant-Content is a great way for those who are educated to actually write what they're worth. But I'm trying to stress that it isn't a magic solution for the "average Joe" to sell 500 words for $80.
