The Best Way to Transfer WordPress Files Post-Sale

    Hello,

    I've just sold a site with WordPress installed on it.

    What's the best way to transfer all of my files to the buyer?

    New to this, so thanks in advance.

    This probably shouldnt be in this category. Mods will move it.
    But anyway I would say either by email or host it on your server and give the buyer a download link.

    If you have already received payment, simply give them the long in information and the site is now theirs for them to handle. Otherwise, download a file and email same to them.

    If its cpanel do a backup and send them the backup file.

    That way they get the db info as well.

    Create full backup in your control panel. If you on Linux, it should be a tar.gz file in the end
