And since you're not protected by the basic "I'm only giving them software, so I'm not responsible for how they use it" kind of defense, I suppose I'd have to ask...

How exactly would you prove that the articles aren't copyright-protected? If you can't verify that coming in in some way, it's your writers and your company technically altering the protected content, putting you at risk for lawsuits as much as the customers submitting it and using the edited versions.

But all in all, if the service is around 1 1/2 cents per word, and the writers are obviously not getting all of that b/c the company would need their cut off the top, you'd be better off hiring writers you can prove are legitimate and can supervise a bit more closely, instead of having "bits and pieces" of each article written by different writers... meaning your service can't offer quality writing with a proper flow.

Hiring writers is the best option. Atleast you can have enough variation and monitor the articles and avoid issues of copyrights!

Thanks for replying with you concerns. Our terms of use clearly state that our site is to be used for legal purposes only. I sincerely doubt that most offering writing services are able to check if each and every rewrite/edit job they undertake is 100% original, or original enough to not infringe upon copyright laws. Of course, some people will try and cheat...

And all of our writers are pre-qualified to help ensure they produce quality rewrites. And the rewrites are then given a final once-over as a whole, to correct any issues with flow. If you'll check out our site, you'll see some examples of spun content, and they flow surprisingly well. I was a bit skeptical myself of this point when creating this site, but I've been very pleased with the quality of our rewrites. Of course, it's not Tolstoy, but hey... :)

If you'd like to try it out for yourself, jhmattern, PM me and I'll arrange a free order for you.

    Thanks so much,
    Paul

Thanks but no thanks. I do my own writing (and for the record.... your feature comparison chart is pretty unfounded to assume writing your own pieces is that much slower and worse yet making the assumption that the quality would be less than what they'd get for 1 1/2 cents per word). If I do work with writers, I screen them pretty heavily, and would generally only work with colleagues or people I could trust, as opposed to groups like this that appear to essentially be "writer mills." But if nothing else, I have something to blog about today. :)

Hey Jenn you stole my blogging idea ;) I kid, I kid.

I have to agree with her. You are ridiculous in assuming that writing your own pieces is a waste of time compared to that service. 1 1/2 cents per word? Please. I don't care if those writers are "pre-screened" or not.

If for some reason I ever decided to hire a writer (nevermind the fact I'm a writer myself) I would not choose to use a service like yours. I would hire a competent writer I knew and trusted, just like Jenn.

I'm not for the "writer mill" concept.

teddy, keep in mind that you posted an ad randomly in a non-advertising area of the forum, in the middle of a discussion (in the area where you'll find most of the professional writers chatting about their work)... so we're bound to speak our minds on it. ;) Thanks for taking it well though... very professional of you.

Why is that people employ shortcuts when it comes to writing articles?

Is it the money factor or do it see as a waste of time as the original content could redone by a B grade professional ?

I believe it is the quality of the articles which would lead to the sucess of website!

I'm still learning the rules of etiquette for posting here at DP, and I certainly don't want to be perceived as "spamming" the forums. I thought this thread was a good place to suggest my services for those looking for article spinners. Lesson learned.

I, of course, respect all the wonderful posters here, and I realize that my site can be seen as an insult to real, professional writers--but people interested in my site in all likelihood would not be interested in hiring a professional writer.

But I may be interested in the future, and I will definitely keep you in consideration!

Thanks for not taking it too rough on me.

We agree that there will be horde of people writing for you and many buyers for these articles.
    Its business overall i guess.

However as a professional writer i am worried about the detiorating content.

Also the viewers will be unable to differentiate between sites having original content or shall we say their spinoffs.

The user will never get a new content which he seeks!

Instead of spinning articles you should try to either hire here at DP or outsource for one. Be careful though because plagiarism tend to be high when dealing with content writers from other countries. Either way, you will get what you paid for. Do not expect a writer in the Philippines to do a 500 word article for $2.

You get the quality according to the payout.

How can you expect original content if you are paying a miniscule amount?

Webmasters, you are going to get out of your website exactly what you put into it. Take note of the content that appears on successful, profitable websites. Does it read like anything offered by article spinners and article mills?

    .
I can tell you how I do it and how my Clients (Business Marketing, most specialties included - copywriting, of course) do it. But, at the risk of not being at all realistic to what you are able to duplicate.

    The SHORT answer:

Yes. Most "rewriting" software spits out gobbily-gook, embarrassing results. Thus, my solution was to develop software in-house to solve the problem. It's not made to be shared with the public, nor do I have any intention of packaging it for resale.

I recognized the growing need for quality content, and believe such will never go out of style in the SE's, and yes good content keeps getting harder to find, so I believed it was worth the money. And worst case scenario, it's a tax write-off.

But, it works fabulously. I don't have a need to create more than 3,000 rewrites, but could plus more. Usually 100 as a minimum, 300-500 is Client preference.

So, my short answer of how to do it, is to simply do it right from the beginning. With all original copy created, my Clients get rewrites included as a package deal. It gives them a greater bang for their buck, not having to hire me for more content that is keyword rich, etc., (they pay pennies on the dollar - in quantity), I get paid more with one effort and much of my work is push button - literally.

Ultimately, the result is Maximum Leverage for all involved.

The software was tens of thousands of dollars, mainly because I'm anal-retentive about doing things right, and taking care of those who take care of me.

    The LONGER answer:

That explains this in a bit more detail has already been posted on DP, on this thread. Scroll down. I warn you it's L-O-N-G and atypical of normal post lengths on this forum, thus don't bother unless you want to READ.

Start at "My Clients Are Spoiled", also read the follow-up post later down the thread.

    Rob

P.S. The longer answer gets more into the Duplicate Content issue and how I am avoiding it.

P.P.S. Just for the record, I'm not for hire, so no sales pitch, just sharing some been there, done that experience here on DP.
