Best way to take pics of jewelry is by using a macro lens if u have one.. if not, no biggie.......... what kind of camera do you have? move item to an area where there is good amount of natural light....just take a crapload of pics (one of the beauties of digital photograph)........ the worst shot u can take is one u DIDNT take.......

as for editing.. Adobe Photoshop is the way to go.. if not, i would maybe try some free ones from download.com or something...

    Hi Katzheretoday

I am also familiar with adobe photoshop which is best software for editing all types of jewellery. You can also use it. I like most diamond jewellery which is available in samra jewellery store.

Macro is pretty common these days, even on a point-and-shoot camera. I would take it in natural lighting. Maybe just take the jewelry outside during the late-morning when it's bright, but not overwhelmingly so.
