aside from contextual? I have a new blog and Im dont feel receptive to put adsense as a way of monetizing it... whats the best way in your own opinion?
I think, that before monetizing a new blog, it needs to have a little popularity at all . Most sponsored posts programms accepts blogs, which are older than 3 months. It has some sense because some peoples give up blogging after writing 3-4 posts, because "they have nothing more to say", or just thought it would be funnier/better etc. My advise - wait a little longer, remove/keep the Adsense for a little revenue and let Your blog have some more content in it. Also, You can try things like matched.co.uk with new blogs - if You'll be lucky you should be matched in a few days with advertiser. Plus, find one affiliate program and keep with it - posting their service .
I also started! blog looking to monetize right now done Adsense! let's see what happens but heard much that blogs give more money than sites
From how many visitors a month you can start thinking about monetizing a blog? I heard that when you have over 1000 visitors a day you can start monetizing it...what's your experience?
For most of padi to post programs blog has to be 3 months old and have at least 1 post/week, so to get accepted to that kind of prgrams blog should have minimum 12 posts. Altought i think, that it is not difficult to write something in Your blog more often, for example 1 post/1-2 days. Also, it is somewhat important the quality of content - setting up WP-O-Matic and posting rss feeds from somewhere else will get You nowhere - I understand having one post for couple of days from RSS feeds, but i should not be Your primary content source (I actually think of setting Wp-O-Matic to post 1 per 3-4 days one post from good source, ofcourse giving some credits to them in return )
The best way to monetize your blog is by adding adsense and TTZ media ads. Also go for Sposored reviews ,pay per post, etc. A handy constant 1000 visitors a day are enough to get 10$ a day or 6$ a day. And this trick works for me.
I have to agree with you. The last thing you should be thinking about with a new blog is making money from it. You should be doing everything you can to promote it and increase the number of subscribers. I doubt a new blog will ever become successful if it starts posting sponsored reviews near the start of it's life.
Snapbomb has a bunch of good opportunities available right now. That being said, a new blog will probably have a low valuation (Snapbomb values based on traffic and other factors). So like the others have already said, you should try to build up traffic by writing good posts!
