The best way to increase Yahoo Ranking

The Page Title plays a very important role for Yahoo. Also, Google takes the words in Page Title, even if it is jumbled; but yahoo looks at it as a phrase. So, the keyword phrase is properly incorporated in the website, it could help greatly in Yahoo. This is my opinion and experience.

 

Content, must be unique and fresh.

 

meta tags are really less important these days. it's about internal linking strategies with yahoo and bing, the anchor being appropriate to the next page of your site. the title and description is really the only thing engines care about anymore on page since anyone can stuff KW tags and try to fool the importance of the engines... going social and driving traffic from those sources probably puts more trust onto your site then KW tags...

 

If you want to increase your yahoo ranking please do seo as well. Submit your site yahoo webmaster tool and submit your sitemap.

 

We have to try increase ranking on Google. Yahoo ranking is based on Google ranking. If Google ranking increases then yahoo ranking automatically increases.

 

With all search engines the best way is first generate content and work on increasing backlinks. Though I rank high on Yahoo and Bing, their robots seem to be a bit slow so it may take some time before you see any results.

 

I don't think about Yahoo Ranking because in the present market there is no demand for it. All are looking for Google Page Ranked sites (it is my opinion)

Google is treated as the main search engine. It mostly focuses on quality content and high PR back links.

 

I agree with Audrey 110. Google search engine is treated as father of search engine. So try to improve your ranking in search engine. It will automatically increase the yahoo ranking.

 

if i am not wrong about backlinks . i learn that there are different ways to backlink like profile linking social book marking and directory submission.and forum posting too . can you help me to tell which is most important to improve ranking .i am working on a keyword but its too hard to get it google page 1. once it was going good but now i am loosing it.

 

Yahoo! and Bing are both powered by Bing's search technology (though their SERPs differ slightly). But even together, they make up only a small percentage of the overall search marketshare... Google consistantly has 65-70% of the market. Bing and Yahoo! together "might" make up 25-27%. The remaining 3-5% is Ask and a bunch of other crap engines.

Focus on Google. You'll get the most bang for your buck (and time). If you do good in Google then generally you'll do well at Bing and Yahoo! as well.

Backlinks from yahoo answers, quora one with high trust. Basically you need to increase authority and trust of your site to rank higher. You can do that by being a subject matter expert in you niche- joine related forums and answer questions.
