Hi,I was writing many articles at my blog and set a link for my site.Is the method still useful?or can you tell me the best way to set a link now. Thanks so much.
If your site and blog has same root domain, then putting a link under/inside the article have no benefit (other than internal-link's advantage).
It may be a stupid reply, but only because he hasn't gone into much depth about what 'earning' a link means. Google's algorithm looks for QUALITY links, the old tactics of getting links from simply anywhere - have lost their value. Good ways to get links are to write good quality blogs & articles. Some article sites approve your article immediately, but the best quality links come from the likes of ezine articles and hubpages, these guys have a quality code which you have to pass in order to get your article submitted, and if you do, then you will obtain a good quality DOfollow link. Google isn't stupid anymore, getting links is as easy as...finding links online, but they need to be relevant, and come from pages with high page authority, otherwise SEO would just be EASY! And google never makes things easy for us...
As long as you are in the blog updated articles even without adding a link, then also useful. Of course, if you want to add a link can now be added in the article, but every day can not be changed too much.(my blog don't set a link for my site,http://www.lubonchem.com )
The best way to get a link, as said by blm2007, is to earn it. What does that mean? It means to write extremely helpful content that gets shared naturally. I commend you for blogging.. just make sure that you are consistent & keep the quality high. Make sure that you post good relevant comments on other blogs that are in your niche. While you're at it register on forums that are also relevant to your niche and be helpful there. It's all about inbound marketing, mate. Don't waste time or money with blackhat methods to get backlinks.. it will rank you for the short term, but you'll end up break dancing with Google and loosing your "hard earned" ranking in the blink of an eye. Good content + traffic = naturally getting relevant backlinks that also get more traffic to your site. Rinse & repeat. Hope that helped you! If you follow that advice you'll surely get backlinks that will last for the long haul.
Definitely writing great content is a good way to get backlinks. But it may take a while for this to happen organically. I have a linkbuilding plan I follow for my sites that shortens the time it takes for my sites to rank. 1) Make sure you have enough quality content on your site, and make sure the pages are indexed 2) Get 50-100 social bookmark links (from Fiverr) 3) Get 25-50 EDU links (from Fiverr) 4) Start adding high PR links. This will get your site noticed and you will see rankings and traffic, provided your KWs are not too competitive
The question in the thread what is best way to set a link in a site? Not this one and this is not a trivia portion that you usually joined. Anyway when writing articles on your blog or site be sure to target your audience with quality and interesting content.
Sorry if I misread the initial post and the responses above. I thought "set" was a mistype. So is the question about "setting" a link? The post title is "The best way to get a link?"
I personally find links very hard to come across in my industry at the moment I have poker related websites and its tough to find back links, so am I right in thinking I need to start posting articles related to my niche somewhere else as I cant find real links of my own I need to create them.
