    so here is the situation,
i am in the proccess of planning a website, working out the content and the layout. i have never built a website before so i am a little confused.

I am going to build a tutroial website so i will need a structure that enables me to update with little hassel or instantly. after carrying out research i thought that wp was the software for me, however i would like to create my website in dreamweaver and it appears that wp cant be incorporatd into dreamweaver, but it does work the ther way round. I would like to use dreamweaver due to its features so is there any other software that behaves like wp that can be incorporated into dreamweaver?

i am planning to create a site with a similar structure to
    gootutorials.com
    and
    psdtuts.com

any help on my sitiuation would be helpfull
thnks to all replies in advance

I recommend you to use wordpress, as I have an programming/tutorial site which is built with Wordpress. It all depends upon customization ... I can do customization for you if you are willing to pay small fee for that..

    thanks

i agree with dpsubi1 for using wordpress as the CMS system of choice, leave dreamweaver alone as it tends to lend it self to inefficient Optimisation, with people often forgetting about the meta tags on every page other than the front page. what feature does Dreamweaver have that you want....do note that psdtuts.com is a wordpress blog

    Hi,

I recommend wordpress for what you are trying to do. It allows easy content submission and updates on the actual CMS. You can also add more functionality to your website using wordpress plugins here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

Plugins are very easy to install and are free to download so you can create your dream website in no time! :)

I would only recommend using Dreamweaver to make edits in certain wordpress files but not to create completely new files.

I have many sites/blogs on wordpress. I used to customize it as needed. It is easy if you know some wp coding. if not you can hire someone to do customization as per your needs ...

you have wide range of free wordpress themes, huge amount of plugins, very good support community and blah! blah! all for FREE :D

Wordpress will save you alot of time which will be required otherwise in designing the CMS system and front end. wp is really very customizable and it doesn't require alot of coding experience. I would suggest wp.

I agree with the mass. Wordpress is the hottest thing going right now. It's easy, it's extensible, it's free.
