Is certainly NOT VPSland. I had a very important website launch on the weekend, but it was all ruined due to a recurring problem with thier server node! My site was down on and off for 7 days! SO, What is the best VPS hositng on the market?? I am changing hosts and can certianly do with some direction. I am looking at basic plans (~ $40 month). Thanks in advance for your advice! Dave.
OMG, it can't be that unlucky to happen at this important time! $40 a month budget is pretty reasonable. How much space/bandwidth will your site need? --- joseph
WiredTree are 100% the best. WiredTree will do that for $59/month. The reason is that they have a great support team who are very knowledgeable and will respond to almost all tickets within 15 minutes. Also, their servers are top quality and their network is fast and reliable. You may be able to find 512Mb of RAM for $40/month, but you get what you pay for and you may find that it is slow and unreliable. However, WiredTree do a 384Mb RAM plan for $44/month. Also, all VPSes come with SSH, you get access to the full OS like a dedicated server.
Yeah, VPSland isn't the best. I had a Windows VPS with them, and it kept rebooting and not coming up properly. What was worse, there was nothing on the inside of the VPS to show what the issue was. So, it has to be the node that was messing up.
