I recently acquired $1,000 through some hard work, and I consider it completely separate from any other money I have saved from my normal job. For this reason, I can use it for anything- reinvesting my main interest. How should I go about investing it? I am getting a $1,500 laptop soon, which will let me work more, and get money faster. When I get back up to $1,000, I'm not really sure what I will do with it. Ideas can be both internet or physical related.
Save it. Don't be in a rush to spend (invest) it. Something good will come up (it always does). The question will be if you still have the money.
Just getting to $1,000 is good saving already. I know what you mean when you say something good always comes up- that always happens with me. Thanks for the good advice!
For internet business, I'd recommend buying an established site already making a bit of money. If you can find a good site for 12X revenue, and then continue to grow it and increase the streams of revenue you'll have your money back in no time. Then leverage the PR and traffic to make related sites and monetize those. I probably wouldnt spend the entire $1000 on a site though. Put some of it into a decent security making 8%, or play with it in the stock market a little bit (if you know what your doing) Hopefully this is good advice, because it's what I'm doing and planning on doing throughout college haha.
If you made it through various online marketing activities my suggestion would be invest it in tools to increase the efficiency of those and speed up the making of additional money. You won't be able to buy any worthwhile site for $1000, at least not one that will generate any reasonably fast payback anyway. so your best bet is spending it on speeding up your current activities of making money.
Speeding up my current activities, interesting. I am in the business of content writing, perhaps I could use it to start a larger-scale operation? Hire people and such? Very good idea...
I would put it in a high interest yielding online bank account such as Emmigrant Dirrect, HSBC, etc. They are paying 5% plus. So in one years time you'll make $50 off of it That's where i put my refund checks
$50 profit in a year doesn't really strike me as a good business opportunity. I appreciate the advice- but I don't think it's for me. To really get anything with interest you have to have a lot more than $1,000
Play some poker.. lol or buy a couple hundred domains and make them proxies, submit them to 100 topsites. Use adsense and adversal. Make millions, lol.
Not really into gambling or proxies. I did consider putting $1,000 on a roulette table and losing it all or doubling it in a matter of seconds. Decided against it.
Yeah. Check out http://www.webmasterlabor.com, tell'em DamageX sent ya. They specialize in writing topical, unique content. An alternative would be to outsource the writing of single articles. Say you have one blog which is currently running and making you money. Outsource the writing of the articles to someone else and concentrate on getting it exposed better. Alternatively start a second blog within a different niche and follow the steps you took to launch your first one. With two blogs up and running, provided the second one will at least follow the same path to profit as the first one, you'll halve your way to your next $1000.
you shall invest it in buying inbound links. all of them. the next 1000 u get, you may wanna spend on payperpost
Best way to invest it? Not sure. What I would do if I had an extra $1,000? Spend it on a new comp. Mine's running a bit too slow on me. It could use a new graphics card (running on an old Geforce 5200).
