I am attempting to start a information portal with google adsense placement on it as well. I hear of people running advertising campaigns with "unique visitors", but I also know of all the useless hit campaigns you can purchase for 20-100.00 on the net that use iframes/etc. I was wondering if anyone knows of some providers that will offer 1000 hits with "eyes" as in actual human's going to see the site and are interested in that topic. I know google adwords, and other ppc companies, but are their any other alternatives that allow bulk purchasing with quality actual interested traffic?
