Hello, I love designing websites, and want to get started into designing and developing wordpress themes. I'm pretty good at customizing an existing theme, but I'd like to design one from scratch. What is the best way to learn how to do this? I've learned most of everything I know about web design from the web, so if you know any relevant sites or blogs that have tutorials on them that would lead me through the process of designing and developing a wordpress theme, please list them in here. thanks, Kenny
Small Potato at http://www.wpdesigner.com/ has a great tutorial series that takes you from start to finish on designing and building a template. He breaks it down and makes it as simple and undertandable as you'll ever see it. For full disclosure, I do have a link on his site, and I do fully endorse his service.
