Hello all, I realise there are various lists around of hundreds of directories but I was wondering what are the top directories in your opinion ? I understand the ODP, Yahoo and Google directories rank at the top but what other directories are ranked very high and very much worth while to get in??? Cheers and thanks all mrix

If you need some directory list with mention pr so try vmoptions here alot more high pr directories include low pr also.
In this directory list, you can find directories and filter and sort them by type (paid, free), niche, PR, Alexa.
I dont know about "authoritative", browsing trough the bottom of the paid directories list , I just know that I have submitted mine once , never got any response, Obviously my PR6 home page with 20+ PR5 inner-page/categories( heck, some of the older listing pages are PR5) did not make enough impression to score.
