Building your list requires time and work. There are many ways to do it. You can use giveaway, submit your eBook to directories, write articles etc. The point is to identify the methods that really work for you, those that give you good results, then you can forget those that don't work for you. For this you have to try and test them to draw your conclusions. The most important thing is to build a high quality list, you can have millions of subscribers but if they don't buy from you, then you are having a list just for the sake of having a list

social networking is good. get a bot, build friends list on myspace, and promote on there. get some high traffic leading back to your website. which will also improve alexa score and get you listd higher in search engines. search for myspace bot like buddypromoter or something.
